Castle Spell

Description

The Sunflowers is the psych-punk and noise pop duo that can trigger epileptic seizures, tooth explosions, or neck pain with just a few powerful and hypnotic riffs, crafted in the softness of their European California, Portugal. Formed in Porto in 2014 by Carolina Brandão and Carlos de Jesus, this mixed duo has managed to brainwash and physically move everyone who has crossed their path during wild concerts. After their first album, The Intergalactic Guide to Find the Red Cowboy, in 2017, the band followed up the next year with their second album, Castle Spell, which pours its signature fusion of guitar effects, feedback, and acid-washed vocals into your stereo. Castle Spell is a 10-room palace, each revealing its murderous inhabitants in a dark and gloomy atmosphere, all narrated by Carol's docile voice, battered by Carlos's intrusive screams. In this new album by Sunflowers, there is more control but more chaos, more madness and wandering of the mind, more depth in the compositions. Digipak packaging. Double vinyl version of Castle Spell, the second album by the Portuguese rock/garage/psych duo The Sunflowers.
