The Spoiled is an Italian post-punk project led by Giovanni Santolla, blending electronic rhythms, distorted synths, and reverb-saturated guitars to create a dark, romantic, and nostalgic sound. In 2024, the project self-produced its first EP, 'Time', distributed by Manic Depression, followed in 2025 by the album 'Living Ghosts' via Swiss Dark Nights - an opus that firmly anchored The Spoiled in the contemporary post-punk scene. After the album's release, Giovanni collaborated with international artists such as ThisEternal Decay, Darkways, Corlyx, Chaos International, and Hinfort, while touring extensively across Europe and sharing the stage with bands like Traitrs, Hinfort, Darkways, and Ductape. The new album, 'When It Rains', will be released on Avant! Released on April 17, 2026, the album 'When It Rains' expands The Spoiled's artistic vision by focusing on intense and romantic soundscapes that deeply explore human intimacy and interpersonal relationships. Adopting a warmer and more personal sonic direction, the album blends elements of indie rock and electrogaze, enriching and revitalizing the dark and melancholic palette that characterized the band's previous works.
