Manchester band The Slow Show will release their fourth studio album, their first in three years, titled STILL LIFE via [PIAS] on February 4th. The making of this new album has been a real struggle. After their landmark album White Water it was clear that The Slow Show was not just "another Manchester band". The legacy of The Smiths, Joy Division, and all those other great predecessors is not to be overlooked, but The Slow Show is something else, an enchanting sound, rich in atmosphere and melody. With the band's desire to push each other out of their respective comfort zones during the recording process, STILL LIFE offers a more diverse, rich, and interesting sound than previous albums.
