Description

Formed in Leeds by guitarist Gary Marx and singer Andrew Eldritch in 1980, The Sisters Of Mercy released their debut album, First And Last And Always, in March 1985. Their debut album reached number fourteen in the UK charts. The band then featured Wayne Hussey on guitar and Craig Adams on bass, both of whom would leave the band to form The Mission. The box set includes the album + the 3 EPs that preceded the album: Body & Soul, Walk Away and No Time To Cry. Each EP contains bonus tracks from the period that are not on the album.
