The Silence is the new project from Masaki Batoh of the prolific Japanese psychedelic group Ghost. After announcing the end of Ghost last year, Batoh immediately announced the formation of The Silence with Jan Stigter on bass, Ryuichiro Yoshida on flute and saxophone, and Batoh himself on organ and piano, as well as his former Ghost bandmate Okano on percussion. Shortly after, the group recorded their first album, which is being released this year.
