Second album by Mike Donovan’s band formed after his Sic Alps project in 2013, featuring, among others, members of The Fresh & Onlys and Thee Oh Sees. Hailing from San Francisco, where the new American garage scene is thriving, The Peacers stay true to local codes and showcase a lo-fi sound and a slightly dirty fuzz. They elevate the West Coast legacy by drawing on the richness of collaborations with other musicians such as Ty Segall, who produced their first album Peacers (2015). Introducing The Crimsmen, however, goes further and subtly draws from a multitude of influences: psych, rock n roll, pop, and even folk. For fans of: Tim Presley, Ty Segall, DRINKS, Thee Oh Sees, etc.
