It's in 1979 that the two brothers Tom and Peter Gulch decided to collaborate to create The Nightcrawlers. Very quickly, they were joined by Dave Lunt. Influenced by minimalist experimental music (Klaus Schuler/Tangerine Dream), as well as by numerous European Techno currents (notably deep ambient), The Nightcrawlers quickly established itself as a fully-fledged electronic music group.
On February 23, The Nightcrawlers will release their new album "The Biophonic Boombox Recordings," an anthology from a collection of recordings resulting from many musical experiments by the group during the spring of 2017 in Philadelphia and New Jersey.
Through this album, The Nightcrawlers pays tribute to this niche community of minimalist electronic music enthusiasts, and offers us a soaring and rhythmic anthology that should not be missed!
