The duo MerKaBa Brotherhood is made up of Roman Norfleet (The Cosmic Tones Research Trio, Be Present Art Group) and André Raiah (Brown Calvin of Brown Calculus, Be Present Art Group). Drawing inspiration from esoteric texts, sacred imagery, and mystical thought, they shape sound into space, tone, and pulse. Their album, marked by great sobriety and an almost geometric quality, highlights the saxophone, keyboards, and percussion.
