Shadow people

The Liminanas is a duo from Perpignan: Marie and Lionel Liminana. With 4 albums, including the latest "Malamore" (2016) which sold 10,000 copies in France, the band skillfully blends garage rock, psych, pop, and French new wave culture. They were first noticed internationally before the French press became fervent supporters of their cause. Jack White invited them to play in his studio, Peter Hook came to lay down his bass on a track, Andrew Weatherall appreciates them a lot, and Anton Newcombe was eager to work with them: this has come to pass: after "Istanbul is Sleepy," the first track resulting from their collaboration with him (vocals & guitar), it was in Berlin at the studios of the leader of Brian Jonestown Massacre that Lionel Limiñana and Anton Newcombe recorded and produced the entire album "Shadow People" together.
