The garage-psychedelic duo The Liminanas and Laurent Garnier, the pioneering DJ-producer of the French electronic scene, sign the album "De Pelicula". The result is neither a techno record by The Liminanas nor a rock album by Laurent Garnier. It’s a feverish road trip in pursuit of Juliette and Saul, teenage delinquents in the romantic tradition of Breathless or Sailor and Lula, in a southern France flirting with the Spanish border. A concept album that is not afraid to take liberties with its concept. But "De Pellicula" is not written by six hands alone. Bertrand Belin has laid down his voice on "Au début, c'était le début," for which he also wrote the lyrics. The same goes for "Que Calor," written and sung by Eduardo Henriquez (Panico, Nova Materia), while Ivan Telefunken (Bel Canto Orchestra) added some guitars. And for those who might wonder, it is indeed the voice of Laurent Garnier that we hear in "Juliette dans la caravane" or in "Tu tournes en boucle" alongside those of Lionel and Marie.
