Dudu Tassa, one of Israel's biggest rock stars, is the grandson of the Kuwaiti musician Daoud Al Kuwait, whose musical collaborations with his brother Saleh, under the name Al Kuwait Brothers, became famous throughout the Arab world between the 1930s and 1950s. The Al Kuwaiti brothers were among Baghdad's greatest composers and musicians of the first half of the 20th century. Dudu Tassa has taken some of Al Kuwait's recordings and developed and modernized them to create his own sound. This new version of the album includes two bonus tracks, including a live version of 'Eshrab Kasak Withana' (feat. Jonny Greenwood/Radiohead/The Smile). Dudu Tassa and the Al Kuwaiti brothers opened the Coachella festival a few years ago and were also chosen by Radiohead to open for them on one of their US tours.
