The Funeral Portrait represents the outcasts from all walks of life. The misunderstood, the weird, the neurodivergent, the LGBTQ+, the marginalized, and all those to whom life has dealt an unfair hand. To offer a sense of community, a place of belonging, and a space where they can feel safe and accepted for their differences. They all grew up being "the weird kid" who was saved by music and alternative culture, and they therefore feel compelled to give back to the younger generation. This message is shouted to the masses through their exaggerated theatrics and their dramatic, almost over-the-top presentation. The Funeral Portrait believes in the power of devotion to their music and their unwavering fans, The Coffin Crew. The ritual begins and they want everyone to be involved.
