The very first vinyl reissue of 'Songs From The Recently Deceased' by Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13 will be released in December via Svart Records. 'Songs From The Recently Deceased' is the third full-length album by the American horror-punk band Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13. The band, which started in 1996 in North Carolina, was active until 2001, when founding member Wednesday 13 left to take on vocal duties in Murderdolls. Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13 played punk rock with lyrics inspired by B-movie horror films and references to popular culture. In addition to a strong penchant for punk, the band's concert and appearance were inspired by glam rock acts such as Alice Cooper, New York Dolls, and KISS. The original and so far only vinyl version of 'Songs From The Recently Deceased' was poorly printed and was missing half of the songs on the B-side. Since then, fans have been searching for this mythical album fully on vinyl, and their day will finally come in December 2024, specifically on Friday the 13th! Is there a more appropriate release date for this macabre album filled with horrors?
