Time for a Witness is the fourth studio album by American rock band The Feelies, released in 1991 on A&M/Coyote. Most of the lyrics were written by Glenn Mercer, and the album was co-produced by Gary Smith. The band recorded their rehearsals and selected interesting parts from their improvisations. "What She Said" features harmonica and slide guitar, while "Real Cool Time" is a cover of the Stooges song. The album showcases the musical interplay between the band members, with their sonic articulation being exceptional. The band broke up shortly after the album's release, which, despite its flaws, remains a testament to their excellence.
