The band was one of the first signed to Tony Wilson's iconic Factory Records label. Primarily the project of guitarist, singer, and leader Vini Reilly, the band has a cult following, including fans such as Brian Eno and John Frusciante.In "Love In The Time Of Recession", Vini Reilly and his collaborators continue to explore genre blends. Reilly's hazy guitar can be heard on "In Memory Of Anthony" (a tribute to the founder of Factory Records), and "More Rainbows", an instrumental conversation between Vini Reilly's soaring guitar and the electric piano of his girlfriend Poppy Morgan.
