Les Disques du Crépuscule present a new CD edition of Fidelity, the 12th studio album by the cult Manchester band The Durutti Column, originally released by the label in April 1996. Fidelity includes 10 tracks written and performed by Vini Reilly, with occasional participation from Eley Rudge. In addition to Vini's characteristic guitar style, the album features elegant electronic textures and programmed music. Although it was underestimated at the time, it gained popularity after the release of the flagship track "Future Perfect," which was featured in the television series The Bear. The new CD version also includes the bonus track My Only Love, originally released in 1995 on a CD accompanying a specialized guitar magazine. A double vinyl version with 12 tracks is also available (TWI976).
