This 50th anniversary edition of 'L.A. WOMAN' includes the newly remastered original album by Bruce Botnick, the longtime engineer and mixer for The Doors, as well as two bonus discs of demos and previously unreleased studio takes. Also included: the stereo mix of the original album on 180-gram vinyl. For this new edition, the original album has been enhanced with over two hours of unreleased recordings from the L.A. Woman sessions, allowing the listener to experience the progression of each song as they developed in the studio. A first demo of "Hyacinth House" recorded at Robby Krieger's home studio in 1969 is also included.
