The reissue of "Liberation" as part of the band's 30th anniversary! Liberation is the band's first album, released in 1993. Although it was not a commercial success, it met with considerable critical acclaim. Melody Maker had described Neil as a genius in its review at the time. The CD edition includes 2 discs: the remastered album and a second CD of bonus tracks (B-sides, demos and alternate takes selected by Neil Hannon - most of them completely unreleased). The CD comes with a booklet of photos and notes written by Neil, covering the context and inspirations behind this album and these tracks. The LP edition includes the original remastered album with a download code for the album and bonus tracks. The LP is a heavyweight black gatefold with photos, credits and notes by Neil.
