Formed in London in 1976, The Damned became one of the most revolutionary and influential bands of the British punk rock scene of the 70s. Throughout their career, The Damned experimented with different musical styles, incorporating elements of gothic rock, psychedelia, and new wave into their sound. More than 40 years after the separation of the founding members, The Damned announced a series of reunion concerts with the original lineup. On November 3, 2022, the band performed at the O2 Apollo in Manchester, UK, in a packed venue, for an energetic concert featuring tracks from their first two albums Damned Damned Damned & Music for Pleasure (1977). This legendary reunion concert is captured on the album AD 2022 - Live In Manchester, which perfectly depicts the unique magic surrounding The Damned.
