In The End

Description

How to forget Dolores O’Riordan, the legendary singer of the Cranberries, who passed away suddenly on January 15, 2018? Following this tragedy, the rest of the band - with the support of her close family - quickly thought about paying a final and dignified tribute to the singer. Noel, Mike, and Fergal then set out to listen to all the recordings made with her during the second half of 2017. As they went along, it became clear to them that the best way to honor her would be to finish this album. Remembering the incredible energy Dolores brought to composing and testing these new songs live, they decided to call on their early producer, Stephen Street. Finalized in the studio in London between April and May 2018, In the End is a true celebration of 30 years of the Cranberries' career, a perfect testament to a whole life, and especially to Dolores O’Riordan's creative work with her musical brothers Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan, and Fergal Lawler. The result: 11 powerful songs that mark the pinnacle of a beautiful and long career, which tragically came to an end.
