Formed in the mid-70s around the iconic Punk scene couple, Poison Ivy and Lux Interior. Both passionate about highly niche Rock'n'Roll, they bonded over Lux Interior's 45rpm collection and their fascination with 50s/60s B-movies. Released in 1980, "Songs The Lord Taught Us" is the band's second album and the last with Bryan Gregory (Guitar/Bass), who left to form other Rock bands. Signed to I.R.S., the band worked with producer and musician Alex Chilton (Big Star) on this album, which would become a cult classic of the Punk scene, thanks to their Psychobilly influences and their energy borrowed from the Ramones and Iggy Pop.
