The debut album of the Danish garage punk band THE CONCRETE BOYS, "Everything's Better Than You," will be released on April 18, 2025, via Crunchy Frog Recordings. We present to you the wild American-Danish unit THE CONCRETE BOYS: an offbeat project filled with madness, depravity, and rock music. The first album, "Everything's Better Than You," is a raucous garage-punk ode to freedom and indignation, recorded by seasoned musicians who do not take this world seriously. A damn necessary record. THE CONCRETE BOYS are Kim Kix (PowerSolo), Mike Sullivan (The Hall Monitors), and Charlie Shapiro (Nive & The Deer Children); the three also perform in PowerSolo. Their new album "Everything's Better Than You" was recorded and mixed by Jens Benz (iceage) and mastered by The Great Nalna (The Tremolo Beer Gut). The guest musicians include Jens Benz (percussion), Nive Nielsen (backing vocals), Pops (backing vocals), Dave Sterns (bass), as well as Patrick Rathbun (keys, organ, violin), Stella Cortés (backing vocals), and Alma Hjørth Jeppesen (backing vocals), all of whom are part of the band on stage.
