The Cinematic Orchestra is back with a new album that explores a timeless question that has become vital in 2019: what to believe? Jason Swinscoe, the band's founder, and long-time collaborator Dominic Smith, have surrounded themselves with a panel of artists, mixing old acquaintances with new contributors: Moses Sumney, Roots Manuva, Heidi Vogel, Grey Reverend (Bonobo's vocalist on "First Fires"), Dorian Concept and Tawiah (Mark Ronson, Kindness) and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson (Flying Lotus, Anderson Paak, Thundercat, Hiatus Kaiyote) on strings. Artist and photographer Brian "B+" Cross worked with Swinscoe and Smith on the very concept of this album, mixed by Tom Elmhirst (David Bowie, Frank Ocean, Adele) at Jimi Hendrix's legendary Electric Lady Studios.
