For fans of the Stray Cats, Brian Setzer, swing, and big band! The Brian Setzer Orchestra, founded in 1992 by former Stray Cats leader Brian Setzer, is a swing and jump blues band. After their debut album in 1994, the group made a significant impact in 1998 with The Dirty Boogie, particularly thanks to their cover of Louis Prima's classic Jump, Jive an' Wail. The second album, Guitar Slinger (1996), is finally being reissued in a limited edition 180g silver vinyl (700 copies), remastered. The album features standout tracks like The House Is Rockin' and Ghost Radio, co-written with Joe Strummer (The Clash). This record kicks off a series of reissues by Deko Entertainment, with The Dirty Boogie scheduled for late 2024 and Vavoom! set for early 2025.
