The Breeders’ ‘Last Splash’, one of the iconic albums of the 1990s, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. To mark the occasion, the band is offering a remastered version of the album. Recorded by Kim Deal, Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs, and Jim Macpherson and featuring the classic singles ‘Cannonball’ and ‘Divine Hammer’, the disc includes the original tracklisting plus the unreleased tracks ‘Go Man Go’ and ‘Divine Mascis’, from the original and previously forgotten sessions. ‘Go Man Go’ is a song co-written by Kim Deal and Black Francis, while ‘Divine Mascis’ is an alternative version of ‘Divine Hammer’ with J Mascis of Dinosaur Jr. on lead vocals.
