Formed in Manchester in 2002, The 1975 has established itself as one of the defining bands of its generation, thanks to its distinctive aesthetic, passionate fanbase, and unique sound approach. The group's previous album, 'Notes On A Conditional Form' from 2020, became their fourth consecutive number 1 album in the UK. The group was named "band of the decade" by NME in 2020 after being crowned "best band" at the BRIT Awards in 2017 and 2019. Their third studio album, 'A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships', also won the title of 'Mastercard British Album of the Year' at the 2019 ceremony.
