Description

A getaway by one of the founding brothers of Narrow Terence, Tereglio offers with the album Woven Eyelids a lo-fi folk with assumed neurasthenia and lays out the codes of songwriting anew in nine tracks of striking intimacy. Here, melancholy reigns, and it is a praise of slowness, solitude, and resonant emptiness. One may thus dare to speak of Woven Eyelids as a haunted record. Over the course of the nine songs that make up the LP, it is indeed the echoes of a painful past, incessant tormented reminiscences, that are served to us through spectral tracks, conceived as so many confined pieces - sometimes caressing, sometimes suffocating - but always with poignant intimacy and sincerity.
