"I am happy to present my new album, recorded mostly in Cape Verde with the help of local musicians, including Hernani Almeida, who produced it. This return to my roots brought me many emotions; I walked in the footsteps of my childhood, of the first melodies that came to me when, as a child, I marveled at the spectacle of the Bay of Mindelo on the island of Sao Vicente. I wanted to convey that emotion in these melancholic, nostalgic, and festive songs that celebrate life.
