Description

Tekemat is a French organic trance group from Saint-Malo, Brittany. Founded in 2018, this unique formation creates an "acoustic sound system" that revisits techno sounds with a sousaphone and a drum kit, without using samples or pre-recorded loops.Although the very nature of Tekemat is instrumental music, the album "Phonoram@s" contains three sung tracks: "Comme il est" written and sung by Guizmo (Tryo) and Senegalese artist Mariaa Siga; "Prisme" featuring Ludo J (Highlight Tribe); and a striking collaboration with the Paimpol-based band Moondrag for an explosive "Smoke on the water".
