This album by Teho Teardo is a sonic journey to places that maps do not show, inspired by the idea of the "true traveler" from Moby Dick. The themes of Purcell, Bach, and Strozzi are transformed here to create new emotions, far from their original baroque contexts. Another source of inspiration is Angelo Badalamenti and the series Twin Peaks, whose song Falling is reinterpreted here with a new and almost unreal purity.
