Nerissimo

Description

In 2013, the two musicians (Blixa Bargeld, a pillar of the group “Einstürzende Neubauten,” and Italian composer Teho Teardo) released “Still Smiling,” their first album in the classical repertoire, made up of songs performed by Bargeld in English, German, and also Italian. Three years later, the follow-up “Nerissimo” — the superlative of “black” in Italian — reveals a sound that is just as warm, just as intriguing, and once again, understated throughout.
