Description

After a long period of dormancy for the Teenage Bad Girl project, Greg Kazubski and Guillaume Manbell felt a strong desire to get back together to create music again. While the first two albums, Cocotte (2007) and Backwash (2011), had been entirely produced remotely through the exchange of audio files, for this third release, the French electro duo spent several weeks together in the studio. Greg and Guillaume wrote and composed the 13 tracks on Separate together, side by side, as one. Each track reflects the spontaneity the group felt during those sessions. It features electronic sounds that give pride of place to disco funk, infused with modernity and pop melodies flirting with the eighties.
