You Are Spring Brown Vinyl

Description

You Are Spring! opens with a wall of sound, a cappella voices layered into a lush harmony, singing of the spring that gives the album its name. In an instant, Tasha transports us far from the dull, gray winter to a world overflowing with images and sensations of new life. Imagine: an abundance of bell-shaped flowers; pale pink, citrine, and butter-yellow hues; a clear sky, blue enough to take your breath away; warmth everywhere, caressing skin that has spent the winter waiting for touch; relief after suffering; a deep breath after suffocation. “You Are Spring!” invites us to savor the present moment, to see ourselves as that long-awaited season, synonymous with renewal and flourishing. And when winter returns, as it inevitably does, when grief sets in and despair comes knocking at the door, Tasha offers us a glimmer of hope. The certainty that spring will return, even in those moments. That the beauty and fullness that surround us today will envelop us again, once more.
