In All This and So Much More, Tasha is an open artist. For Tasha, the last few years have been dynamic, full of twists and turns. They have been marked by painful encounters with grief, a sudden breakup, a new flirtation, new hair, travels around the world, and, above all, a role in the Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical Illinoise, which adapts Sufjan Stevens' Illinois for the stage. While Tell Me What You Miss The Most was an introspective meditation on love, with some moments of reflection on the future, All This and So Much More is a more outward-looking, flourishing Tasha, telling us what it means to take life by the chin and look it in the eye. It is an album crafted with an ambitious sound (partly thanks to the production of Gregory Uhlmann) - cinematic drones, orchestral woods, dazzling intertwined guitars, all aligning to capture an important moment in Tasha's life. Written in 2022 and 2023, on the cusp of Tasha's casting for Illinoise, the songs on this album evoke friendship, heartbreak, flirtation, and doubt.
