“DESTINATIONS” is the new - and only the second - album by the virtuoso Israeli pianist TAMIR HENDELMAN under his own name (and the first for the fine audiophile label RESONANCE). He is also the regular pianist of the fantastic big band CLAYTONHAMILTON and of the BILL HOLMAN orchestra. He has accompanied GLADY KNIGHT, TIERNEY SUTTON and BARBRA STREISAND. The program includes 9 standards (KEITH JARRETT, CHARLIE PARKER, LERNER&LOEWE, MAKOTO OZONE..), 1 classical composition (RAVEL) and 2 original compositions. A major pianist to discover urgently! Note that BARBRA STREISAND chose TAMIR HENDELMAN to accompany her on her first “jazz” album released in early 2010. TSF radio is a partner of the album: it will be on the playlist all through September, the album is stickered, and there will also be contests during the month.
