The vinyl reissue of the debut album by the cult Australian band Tamam Shud! Released in 1969, "Evolution" is the first of two albums by the band Tamam Shud. Hailing from Australia, the band abandoned their first name, Four Strangers, to become The Sunset and finally Tamam Shud in 1967. Evolving from instrumental surf rock to cosmic psychedelic prog rock in the late 60s, the band enjoyed immense popularity in Australia where they played at the biggest festivals.
