Sylvain Rifflet likes to explore uncharted territories and take off-the-beaten-path routes. For this new sax-synths-drums trio, he joins forces with two figures from indie pop with a jazz background, Bettina Kee (Ornette) and Vincent Taeger (Tiger Tigre, Le Sacre du Tympan). The hallucinatory landscapes of the synths amplify the hypnotic, swirling playing of the saxophonist-clarinetist, and the whole thing is driven by Taeger’s incredible grooves.
