Description
Swing Kids, formed in the mid-90s by Justin Pearson, Jose Palafox, John Brady, and Eric Allen, blended punk, hardcore, and jazz/swing influences to create genre-defying music. The short-lived band released a few EPs and a split before ceasing activities following Palafox's departure and, tragically, Eric Allen's suicide. Several members went on to have notable careers in other bands, while Swing Kids reunited for two benefit concerts in memory of Eric.
