Led by the duo Evan Bernard / Chris Baglivo, The Superweaks went from a Philadelphia musical collective to a full-time band with the release of a first EP and a first album in 2015. With influences ranging from Weezer to Thin Lizzy, the band delivers explosive power-pop song after song, accompanied by a welcome touch of fuzz. Their second album, Better Heavens, is a tribute to their bassist Corey Bernard, who passed away in the summer of 2016. Sonic experimentation plays a significant role alongside the pop/rock riffs so dear to the American band.
