Over the years, and from album to album, we have followed the singer from Holden's discreet quest for emancipation, whose unique voice has become so dear to us. - - Author, composer, performer, she returns today with 'La digue', a new album by SuperBravo, written and produced with her long-time partner, the remarkable Michel Peteau - aka Cheval Fou - an inspired guitarist and unique producer. - - Open to all forms of techniques (cut off, improvisation, blind editing, use of samples), SuperBravo has been striving for about ten years to develop its writing within a one-of-a-kind sound system. - - And while we can now, after 4 albums, speak of a 'SuperBravo sound' (classified as dream pop, which is eminently feminine music full of dreaminess...), we must also credit the fluidity and timelessness of SuperBravo's repertoire to Armelle's finely crafted writing. - - In this new album, the collaborative duo strives to honor the good souls and everyday heroes, of all genders and natures, with a clear intention to uplift destinies, towards the light, towards the blue of the sky.
