Summer Moon, the new band of Nikolai Fraiture, bassist of The Strokes, releases its first album With You Tonight! Summer Moon has given Nikolai Fraiture the opportunity to experiment beyond his own artistic horizons. Most of the tracks were produced by Matt Boynton (MGMT...) at Vacation Island studios. Others are produced by Brad Bell (Arcade Fire, The War On Drugs) at Hi-Fi studios in Austin. In a distinctly New York style made of offbeat sounds and textures, the entire album seems to achieve the perfect balance thanks to a production that respects pop rock codes. 'With You Tonight' cleverly mixes guitars and keyboards and offers us a cocktail of danceable synthetic rhythms and wild punk rock.
