Stone Temple Pilots embarks on a new musical adventure with “Perdida”. Their 8th album and first acoustic album, “Perdida” includes 10 new tracks that are very personal to the band, written and composed with emotion and honesty. To make this album, Dean DeLeo, Robert DeLeo, Eric Kretz and Jeff Gutt surrounded themselves with talented musicians. They brought into the project various instruments that are rarely heard on a Stone Temple Pilots record. The flute on “I Didn't Know The Time”, the alto saxophone on “Years” or the guitarrón on “Miles Away” give this project an unexpected dimension and a fresh feel. At the same time, the band announces a 15-date tour on which they will perform the tracks from “Perdida” as well as older songs from their catalog in acoustic versions.
