The vocal ensemble Stile Antico presents the first project of a trilogy celebrating the anniversaries of the greatest composers of the Renaissance. This first album focuses on the celestial work of Josquin des Prez and will celebrate the 500th anniversary of the composer in 2021. The album's repertoire revolves around one of the composer's most famous masses, and probably his last, 'Missa Pange lingua'. It also features two rare and fascinating works inspired by Josquin and composed by his contemporaries Hieronymus Vinders and Jacquet of Mantua.
