At Real Gone Music, we proudly represent the GL label of Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme for over a decade. But now, we are very, very happy to announce that we are working with the son of Steve and Eydie, David Lawrence, and his wife Faye to revamp their entire catalog of recordings, offering updated annotations and new remasterings directly from the original tapes! Last year, we launched our reissue campaign with their classic 1964 holiday album... and now, we are very proud to announce that we are bringing that holiday spirit! to vinyl (green vinyl, that is)! You get 12 holiday favorites, including Steve's solo tracks ("The Christmas Song," "Let Me Be the First to Wish You Merry Christmas"), Eydie's solo tracks ("White Christmas," "What Are You Doing New Years Eve"), and the duo's interpretations (for example, "Sleigh Ride"). We have included a personal note from David Lawrence with liner notes by Joe Marchese. Even if you already own this Christmas classic, the sound of this new edition – remastered for vinyl by Eric Boulanger under the supervision of David Lawrence – will indeed evoke that holiday spirit.
