Unpublished songs for processions during major liturgical celebrations. This new album features 28 songs specifically written for seven major feasts of the liturgical year: Epiphany, Baptism of the Lord, Ascension, Holy Trinity, Corpus Christi, All Saints, and Christ the King (the last Sunday of the liturgical year). For each of these feasts, Jean-Pascal Hervy (lyrics) and Philippe Robert (music) have written four specific songs: three processional songs for the entrance, the preparation of the gifts, and communion, and one sending song. The characteristic of these short sending songs is to directly extend the sending sung by the deacon or priest ("Go in the peace of Christ...") and invite a lively response from the assembly. Songs that allow for a renewal of the repertoire and will help parishes and communities to give through song the unique character of each of these major feasts.
