Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams decided to simultaneously release their solo albums on 02/26/21. Luke's new album, "I Found The Sun Again", is co-produced by Ken Freeman, who also engineered and mixed it. Among the musicians are many dignitaries who have shared Luke's life for several decades: such as drummer Greg Bissonette, keyboardist Jeff Babko, and bassists Jorgen Carlsson and John Pierce.
Of course, his Toto bandmates are also present: David Paich plays organ and piano on several tracks, while Joseph Williams sings on many songs and contributed his expertise in string and horn arrangements. His friend and All-Starrs leader, Ringo Starr, makes a special appearance on the recording, which can be seen in a video.
Luke assures that this studio session was the easiest and most enjoyable he had ever experienced, everything flowed perfectly! The album also features 5 new original compositions and three covers chosen by Steve: "Low Spark of High Heeled Boys" by Traffic, "Welcome To The Club" by Joe Walsh, and "Bridge of Sighs" by Robin Trower.
