Stereo MCs

Connected

Description

Caught between Hip Hop, Trip Hop Down Tempo and Soul, the Englishmen of Stereo Mc's made their mark on dancefloors across the Channel in the early 90s. It was with their 3rd album, Connected, released in 1992, that they spread their production expertise beyond the borders of their native England. Rob Birch’s finely crafted rhymes, backed by Nick Hallam’s beats and samples, blend with finesse with Cathy Coffey’s vocals.
