Description

Steff Tej has been hitting the road and making music for quite some time, notably with Ejectés, performing over 2500 concerts in some twenty countries and releasing more than fifteen albums as a singer-songwriter. This is an initial overview of an already rich career. Ska, Soul, Reggae, Punk, Rocksteady, Hip hop – Steff has flirted with all these styles, setting his incisive and humorous lyrics to them, all in the language of Molière. Following a challenge from the "Éclat d'Émail" jazz festival, our globetrotter brought together his lyrics, music, and influences for a new project he describes as "punk n' bossa." Contradictory, both lounge and energetic, the repertoire consists of new songs and also revisits punk and reggae classics with a bossa nova twist. The first album, "Punk'n bossa," will be released on April 21, 2023, by "Disques du Tigre," distributed by Inouïe. Once again at the crossroads of various musical styles and lyrical song, Dr. Steff Tej will prescribe a healthy dose of good humor through his performance.
