3 years after his album 'Morricone Stories', Stefano di Battista is back with his new album 'La Dolce Vita', recorded with Fred Nardin on piano, Daniele Sorrentino on bass, Andre Ceccarelli on drums and Matteo Cutello on trumpet. This album refers to a dreamed-of period in Italian history and brings together beautiful songs that explore the repertoire of Italian artists from that era. Includes the single "La vita e bella". In 2021, Stefano Di Battista returned with 'Morricone Stories', a tribute album to Ennio Morricone, with whom he had the chance to work. On this project, he was reunited with André Ceccarelli on drums, Fred Nardin on piano and Daniele Sorrentino on double bass. Building on its public success with more than thirty French concerts as a quartet, he is now tackling a new repertoire with his Italian group, on a new album titled 'La Dolce Vita' (March 2024). A lover of melody, a magician of tone, Stefano Di Battista makes the themes made famous by Paolo Conte, Andrea Bocelli, Lucio Dalla resonate in a new light, while paying tribute to composers such as Renato Carosone or Armando Trovajoli.
