Live! is the first live album released by Status Quo. Initially released in 1977, it compiles three concerts held in Glasgow between October 27 and 29, 1976, recorded with the Rolling Stones' mobile studio. Available for the first time on vinyl, this version of "Live In Glasgow," recorded at the Apollo in 1976, features the entire concert from October 28. Pressed in a very limited edition, it is presented on a double bright yellow vinyl LP, with a new cover. The mixing and mastering were done by Andy Gamble at AVP Productions from recently discovered multitrack recordings (including one in a box labeled Peters and Lee!), from the original 6.35 mm master tapes, with the approval of Francis Rossi. Live! is considered an essential live album of the 70s and one of Quo's most memorable concerts. This complete recording of a setlist from the same tour shows the band at its peak, loud and furious, with the entire original lineup from the 1970s intact.
